Commitment
to Safety
North Star Construction Corp. strictly enforces its Safety
Policy which includes a Substance Abuse Policy, a Confined Space Procedure, a
Fall Prevention Policy, and a Hazard Communication Procedure. This policy is
administered by a full-time safety officer, and field relevant safety topics
are discussed in a weekly staff meeting of managers. All superintendents and
project managers are safety trained and CPR certified.
The specific safety requirements of each project are addressed
in the bidding stage, and our safety officer regularly visits each job site to
ensure compliance. Our commitment to safety has been repeatedly recognized by
the Virginia Road and Transportation Builders Association and the Associated
General Contractors of Virginia. |
